
My name is Sam Marriott, and I’m here to prove one thing. That you can lead a fit, healthy lifestyle and balance that with an outgoing, adventurous and fruitful social life.
I’m a 22 year old Personal Trainer and Online Body Transformation Coach from Nottingham, England. I’ve been working in the industry for 3 years, and right now I work with clients here in my home town, and also across the world online, teaching them the principles of Flexible Dieting. I love to lift heavy things, my addiction to Southern Comfort Whiskey is getting slightly worrying and you can often find me at numerous House / Techno music events (probably drunk) around the UK.
The reason I told you all of that is because I want to show you that not every Fitness Professional is one dimensional, and leads a strict lifestyle. I preach Flexible Dieting (If you don’t know what that is, click here), and to my clients too. I’m just trying to show the world how its possible to live a lifestyle of your choice, and achieve results at the same time.
The fitness industry can be misleading. Sometimes it frowns upon the enjoyable things, like going out for meals with your friends, or having a few drinks in the evening with your family. Many people on a fitness journey feel trapped and isolated as they give up simple pleasures in life to achieve the body of their dreams. I know that feeling, its happened to me.
The purpose of the blog section is to show you dont have to lead a restrictive lifestyle. The aim of my posts is to educate people on Nutrition, fitness / lifestyle approach and understand how your diet makes changes to your body. I want to show you how there are no such thing as good and bad foods, instead its all about the importance of each nutrient, and calories in vs calories out. I also want to change peoples mindsets, educate them to become less restrictive on their diet, and be able to lead a lifestyle with no barriers, all while still making great progress in the gym.
